So there I was watching the women's channel...Love this channel. Anyway, Dirty Dancing came on. I was 13 when I first watched this movie. YOWZERS!!! It's funny how old the actors were....most current teen movies have actors at least in their early 20's..

So where was I ..

Well...Brainstorm moment....

How about using LiveBinders in the classroom as a method of reader(viewer)response?

If I was creating a Dirty Dancing LiveBinder, I would have tabs for:

-Character
-Setting
-Plot

Then BONUS FEATURE TABS!!!
-Songs from the movie (Uploaded from YouTube)
-Where are they now?
-Actor interviews
-Sequels
-Other songs inspired by the movie.

I could go on and on.....

So try this with books too!
-have students create a soundtrack
-Upload a book trailer for one tab
-Include a personal response...

Is this COOL or WHAT?

Besides nobody puts my LiveBinder in the corner....nobody!
